Toronto-area buyers looking at the 2026 Cadillac OPTIQ have more to consider than in previous years. For 2026, Cadillac restructured the entire lineup with cleaner option sets, standardized Super Cruise across every trim, and added an OPTIQ-V with 650 hp — making the choice between trims more meaningful than a simple feature checklist.

Five trims are available in Canada — Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, Premium Sport, and V-Series — each in rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, except the V-Series which is AWD only. Here's what separates them.

2026 OPTIQ Trim Lineup Overview

Every 2026 OPTIQ includes:

  • NACS (North American Charging Standard) port for Tesla Supercharger network access
  • 33-inch diagonal advanced LED display with Google built-in
  • 19-speaker AKG Studio Surround system with Dolby Atmos
  • Wireless phone charging
  • Panoramic fixed glass roof with power shade
  • Regenerative braking with One-Pedal Driving
  • Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance (three-year trial, standard across all trims)

Luxury and Sport share the same base price — the difference is aesthetic, not mechanical. Premium Luxury and Premium Sport are similarly price-matched at a $3,100 step up from the base trims. The OPTIQ-V is exclusively AWD and carries a $13,600 premium over the AWD Premium trims. RWD models are $4,500 less than their AWD counterparts across all applicable trims.

Luxury: The Base Trim

The Luxury starts at $61,043 RWD and $65,543 AWD.

  • RWD: 315 hp, 332 lb-ft of torque, 510 km of range
  • AWD: 440 hp, 498 lb-ft of torque, 450 km of range

Both configurations use a single-speed reduction transmission with Electronic Precision Shift. Onboard charging is rated at 11.5 kW, with a 19.2 kW upgrade available.

Standard equipment includes Inteluxe seating, heated front seats with massage function, 8-way power driver seat with 4-way lumbar support and memory, and 6-way power passenger seat. The Luxury rides on 20-inch Pearl Nickel wheels with 245/50R20 all-season self-sealing tires. LED headlamps and tail lamps are standard, along with an illuminating grille and emblem. Interior options include Noir or Sky Cool Grey with Santorini Blue accents.

Additional standard features: HD Surround Vision, 110V outlet, rear USB-C ports, Wi-Fi hotspot, 5G connectivity, AutoSense power liftgate, and drive modes (TOUR, SNOW/ICE, SPORT, and MY MODE). Brakes are 12.64-inch sliding caliper discs front and rear, with standard trailering provisions and an optional hitch and bezel.

Sport: Same Price, Blacked-Out Styling

The Sport trim is priced identically to the Luxury — $61,043 RWD and $65,543 AWD — and shares the same powertrain and feature content. The distinction is visual: High Gloss Black mouldings wrap all doors, and 20-inch Dark Android wheels replace the Pearl Nickel finish. Interior options match the Luxury.

If the blacked-out exterior styling appeals and the price is equal, the Sport is the straightforward choice over the Luxury.

Premium Luxury and Premium Sport: The Step-Up Trims

Both Premium trims start at $64,143 RWD and $68,643 AWD — a $3,100 increase over the base trims. Powertrain options are identical: 315 hp / 332 lb-ft in RWD, or 440 hp / 498 lb-ft in AWD. Range ratings stay the same: 510 km RWD, 450 km AWD.

What the $3,100 adds:

  • Head-Up Display
  • Ventilated front seats with power bolster adjustment
  • 8-way power passenger seat with memory
  • Heated second-row outboard seats
  • Ambient interior lighting
  • Inteluxe seating with perforated inserts and embroidery or quilting
  • Slim-line LED vertical headlamps and LED choreography-capable tail lamps with automatic levelling
  • Deluxe floor mats
  • Onboard charging upgraded to 19.2 kW as standard

The Premium Sport adds optional 21-inch wheels with 275/40R21 all-season tires. The Premium Luxury carries the same chrome and refined exterior treatment as the base Luxury; the Premium Sport mirrors the Sport's blacked-out approach.

For buyers who regularly carry rear passengers — or spend significant time on Ontario highways — the heated rear seats and Head-Up Display alone justify the step up.

V-Series: The Performance Trim

The OPTIQ-V starts at $82,243 AWD only, producing 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque in Velocity Max mode. Cadillac estimates 0–60 mph (approx. 0–97 km/h) in 3.5 seconds.

Exterior changes include a unique front fascia with signature V-pattern mesh, high gloss black front splitter, rocker extensions, and rear lower diffuser. Standard wheels are 21-inch satin graphite alloy with 275/40R21 summer-only tires; all-season tires are optional. Additional wheel options include polished and painted 21-inch wheels in dark sport or bronze with gloss black finishes.

Interior options: Noir with Santorini Blue accents, or Noir and Sky Cool Grey with Santorini Blue accents. An optional palette adds Santorini Blue seatback panels and seatbelts. Seatbacks feature V-Series fjords-inspired perforation with embroidered badging. Genuine woven carbon fibre décor is standard on the centre console. V-Series badging appears on the performance steering wheel, sill plates, and floor mats. Ambient lighting themes are tied to drive modes.

Performance hardware includes Continuous Damping Control suspension, Brembo front brakes with black calipers (red or blue available), and sport-tuned suspension. Drive modes: V-MODE (user-tunable accelerator, brake, suspension, steering, sound enhancement, and Competitive Mode), plus TOUR, SNOW/ICE, SPORT, and MY MODE with Electric Vehicle Sound Enhancement.

Note: Trailering is not available on the V-Series.

Which Trim Is Right for You?

Luxury RWD ($61,043) — The most range-efficient entry point. Super Cruise, 33-inch display, heated and massaging front seats, and 510 km of range are all included. The right choice for buyers who prioritize range and don't need blacked-out styling.

Luxury AWD or Sport AWD ($65,543) — Adds 125 hp and all-weather traction at the cost of 60 km of range. Worth considering for buyers in areas with heavier winter conditions. Choose Sport over Luxury if you prefer blacked-out exterior details at no additional cost.

Premium Luxury or Premium Sport ($64,143 RWD / $68,643 AWD) — The $3,100 premium buys ventilated seats, Head-Up Display, heated rear seats, and upgraded lighting. The right trim for buyers who spend extended time behind the wheel or regularly carry passengers in the rear.

V-Series ($82,243 AWD only) — Built for performance. 650 hp, Brembo brakes, Continuous Damping Control, and V-MODE are the draws. Trailering is not available, and summer-only tires are standard — relevant for Ontario buyers planning year-round use who will need the all-season tire option.

The 2026 OPTIQ Lineup Is Unusually Straightforward

Most luxury EV lineups bury the real differences in option packages. The 2026 OPTIQ is structured cleanly: every trim includes Super Cruise, the 33-inch display, and NACS charging as standard. The choice is about styling preference (chrome vs. blacked-out), the $3,100 premium feature set, or the jump to 650 hp in the V-Series.
